Greyt Night Out Fundraiser

Greyt Night Out For Greyhounds

With bellies full of bubbles and scrumptious vegan food, we kicked off the night with presentations from Animal Liberation Queensland’s Greyhound Campaigner Hayley Cotton and GREY2KUSA Worldwide’s Jeroen van Keernebeek. We were then very honoured to present Dr Ray Baxter, Veterinarian and co-owner of our major sponsor, SuperVets. He gave a very honest and eye-opening insight into his experience as a veterinarian in dealing with the ugly truths of the greyhound racing industry.  His passion and dedication to greyhounds, and all of his patients, was palpable and it is clear the hounds have an ally in SuperVets!

Other speakers included Friends of the Hound’s President, Lisa White, and our greyhound campaign ambassador, Fabienne Costa, who shared the story of her beautiful adopted greyhound, Atlas.

Our fantastic raffles were drawn towards the end of the evening, followed by an thrilling live auction.  It was a truly exciting end to a wonderful evening filled with good food (all vegan of course!), laughs, insightful presentations and great conversations.

We also launched our new greyhound campaign t-shirts on the night which proved very popular. Remaining stocks of the t-shirt are now available online - men's fitted t-shirts and women's fitted t-shirts.

Thank you to our sponsors without whom this event would not have been possible. And thank you to all of our guests and those of you who couldn’t be there but support our work. You are helping to pave the path to freedom for racing greyhounds!
